When the world slowed down during the Pandemic, I found myself missing that communal sense of musical exploration. That’s when the idea for **Travel Through Music** was born—a way to keep that experience alive and continue bringing the world to my fans, even from afar.
It all started with weekly world music playlists. Every other week, I would choose a country or city, immerse myself in its music, and curate a playlist that transported listeners to that place. I would research, listen, and discover artists from each region—sharing the sounds and stories that make their music unique.
From those playlists, the concept grew. I wanted to create more tangible, immersive experiences. So, Travel Through Music evolved into subscription boxes that brought curated sounds, cultural artifacts, and stories from around the globe right to people's doors.
But I didn’t stop there. The mission expanded—bringing live performances inspired by global sounds to audiences, offering K-5 educational workshops that immerse young minds in the world’s rich musical traditions, and even organizing travel groups to destinations like Cuba where we dive into the local music scene firsthand.
